Art Majors vs. Society This is the argument that most art majors have to go though so many times in their life. Society could be their parents, people at their college, or random strangers. It sucks, it hurts, and it's causing a lack of art lovers in the world.

Society:So, what's your major?
Art Majors:Oh, I'm an Art Major.
Society:Ahhhh, you mean future cashier/Wal-Mart greeter/fast food worker/garbage man/cab driver/hobo/janitor/jobless person/moocher/etc.
Art Majors:No. An art major. A person who will work hard every day in college, taking not just art related classes, but the same math, science, language, and social classes as everyone, while trying to maiArt Majors vs. Society by *NaMiKiTtIn

Hello there!
I'm not beyond interesting, but I do try to be individual.

A few tidbits about me:

I'm a sophomore Art major at NEMCC. I plan on transferring to Delta State, where I will attempt to get my Bachelors in Graphic Design.

I'm agnostic.

I'm vegetarian.

I'm not emo, scene, goth, hipster or any mix of those. I am who I am. No labels needed. (However, I do prefer the Indie/Hipster clothing style)

I'm engaged to ~Riku3322.

I will never judge anyone on their gender, sexuality, religon, size, style, color of skin, or region. I will judge them by how they treat me and others.

Despite my formality, I'm actually quite lose and willing to get my hands dirty

Interests

Macbook Pro for less than $700

It doesn't have to be brand new, or the newest model. I just need one for college this fall. I'm transferring to a bigger university, and the Graphic Design program there requires a Macbook.

In all honesty, I probably won't be able to afford that without a student loan, but the less money I have to pay back, the better.
